MUSIC MINISTRY
At House of Faith we believe in the importance of Worship and Praise in our Service. We believe that the purpose of the Music Ministry is to offer sacrifices before the Lord through song and music. As we minister in music and praise we desire to help the congregation enter in the atmosphere of praise and worship.
The Bible tells us 1 Chron. 16:29 "ascribe to the Lord the glory due to his Name, bring an offering and come before Him, worship the Lord in the splendor of His Holiness." The Bible also tells us in 1 Chron. 6:31 "David put men in charge of the music in the House of the Lord...They ministered with music before the tabernacle" Our goal at House of Faith Apostolic Church is to always bring pleasure to the Lord through our worship, actions, and our life. According to Romans 12:1 "Therefore, I urge you brothers in view of God's mercy, To offer your bodies as living sacrifices holy and pleasing to God. This is your spiritual act of worship. We strive to continue improving, as we offer our lives, voices and music as sacrifices unto our Lord Jesus Christ.
CHILDREN'S MINISTRY
What about the kids? We at House of Faith Apostolic Church believe that our children are the heart and soul of our church. Our children need a place where they see and here about the greatness of God, this will help their spiritual and emotional stability as they grow older. Proverbs 22:6 tells us "Train a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not turn from it." Also Jesus tells us in Matthew 19:14 "let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these."
Our teaching program not only uses visual aides, but practical teachings for their age groups. We offer from time to time children's services so they can become acclimated to a life of spiritually. We offer activities of fellowship such as going to Knott's Berry Farm, Ice Cream Sunday, Puppet Show's and many other fun activities.
YOUTH GROUP
We believe that our youth have an important place in our church. We understand the pressures that are young people face in their lives today. Ecclesiastes 12:1 tells us "Remember your Creator in the days of your youth...." and 1 Tim. 4:12 tells us "Don't let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in life, in love, in faith and in purity."
Each week our youth teachers teach practical Biblical principles aimed at addressing the challenges our youth face each day. We offer English Worship Services, Bible Studies and many more activities that will help our youth to grow spiritually in their Christian walk. We also offer activities that unite them and bond their relationship such as beach parties, bowling, concerts and other activities as well.
